Our Story

How We Got Started

In 2014 a group of women gathered at a basement section of a cottage hotel in Columbia for a weekend alone with God. This retreat was a called-out time sharing the word of God, praying, socializing and dinning together. The weekend was filled with the manifestation of the power of God. His servant that was the guest of honor was mightily used to bless and touch lives. There was a great outpouring and souls were won to the Kingdom. This retreat is now known as “The Victorious Family Ministry.” We have progressed and expanded by numbers and territories. The Lord has continually shown himself faithful in our lives. Presently, we  have several anointed women and men of God associated with the ministry and they minister to the group as the Lord directs. The Lord is leading us to use this platform to bless those in need and touch lives. Be a part of this ministry, through your participation and contribution as you do the Lord will bless you greatly.

Hello Sis Antonia, how are you and your family? This is odd to me too, but I had to obey the spirit of GOD. I was just lying down on my bed after this morning’s prayer and thinking of my life the goodness of GOD in my life and how far I have come. Then it dawned on me again that I had gone back to school and graduated. This had always felt like a dream that I had not come out of. Then I pondered on what would have been my faith today at my job if I had not taken that huge step considering all the new educational requirements in place. I thought to myself, how on earth was I able to make this big decision at the right time? Then I went down memory lane.
I have always known going back to school would be a very good step up for my career, but I could not imagine how I was going to do that, the time, the finance, the energy, all of which I do not have. It was during the women’s retreat in May 2010 that I received my jump start anointing to take this huge step. I still remember the sister who spoke to us about finances and mentioned that we borrowed 30,35,40 thousand loans to buy a brand new car that diminished in value, yet we could not borrow such an amount to get an education that would not diminish in value. Pastor Dada ended that retreat by challenging us to go and do exploits.
Most times we do not realize that in many simple things we do, we sow seeds in people’s lives directly or indirectly. unless you see the fruit, you will not realize you have sown. Today I am happy to say that my educational achievement was a seed sown during the Women’s retreat and it has germinated and matured and is bearing wonderful fruits. The women’s retreat was a vision that was birth by you. Neither you nor I will realize how that program impacted and empowered our lives or other lives until we hear testimonies like mine. I for one did not realize it until today as I pondered on how I made the boldest decision of my life. Again I was always so busy during the retreat I never thought it made such a great impact in my life. I believe the spirit of GOD brought this thought to me this day for a purpose, am not sure I know why, but deep in my thoughts this word came to me for you, “NO ONE CAN BE A MOTHER TO A CHILD WHILE THE MOTHER IS ALIVE”. A wonderful vision you were given to empower women to succeed, the devil has tried to take it away, but I tell you he did not succeed, he only succeeded in putting it down to sleep, but I pray God will awaken it in due time.
When I pondered on this, the spirit in me said, maybe you should call her and tell her she was part of your success story, I said she would probably be at work, and He said, email her lest you will forget. I decided to email anyway because I may not do a good job, telling you this by mouth.
Just want to say THANK YOU for being a part of my success story. My greetings to Bro Patty and Joshua. I hope this coming year will awaken all sleeping visions in your life in Jesus’ name. Amen

God Bless you
